One of the unexpected benefits of the pandemic was the free time I had to take the oppurtunity to learn the basics of Photoshop.
I pride myself on featuring daily content on my main Instagram page for Prime Time Sports Talk. This work has also been featured on the company’s Twitter. I am also responsible for the graphics for a Bruins Instagram page, @bigbadbruinss, several article graphics as well as select logos.
Prime Time Sports Talk
As the social media coordinator, I posted breaking news involving trades, signings, injuries, and other assorted news. I came up with unique content ideas such as “redrafting” NFL draft classes knowing what each player turned out to do. During the NFL season, I posted twice daily graphics recapping games from the past week, previewing games for the next week, ranking divisional standings, power rankings, and fantasy standouts. I also created series of content and posted predictions from the writers about several pertinent sports topics.

BigBadBruinss and Massholes with Mics
While Prime Time Sports Talk focuses on sports on a national level, it often means that it focuses on basketball and football in order to cater to the country’s biggest sports audiences. I was offered the opportunity to make graphics for a Bruins Instagram page starting during the 2018-19 season. I have been creating graphics ever since for the page as they made a Stanley Cup Final run. I have posted breaking news and updates, final scores, postgame quotes, and created stories for interaction, and incorporated some Instagram live streams as well. Since the fall of 2021, I am also responsible for posting graphics for my podcast’s page, Massholes with Mics.

Logos, Film Concepts, and Article Cover Images
I have made several logos for social media pages, and even a logo to be part of my classmate’s feature thesis film. I also created mock baseball cards for that project, and have made several cover images for select Prime Time Sports Talk articles. I have incorporated my creative style into my assignments this year, including headers for my sports public relations class.
